Jonathan Larken wins his 7th Canadian Amateur singles title by besting James Coyne 3-1 last weekend on February 3rd. Larken and partner Mike McLernon took on NYers Guy Devereux and Trevor Rees in the doubles and won 3-0 to win the doubles title. The battle for third and fourth in the rackets rankings are certain to switch around as Coynie will drop from 3rd and Larken is sure to move up from 5th, leaving Will Hopton (currently 4th) hovering around those same spots.
