Kendrick Cup/Pro Singles/Pro-Am Registration

Dear North American Racquets Association Members, 

The last events of our 2025-2026 season are upon us, and The Tennis & Racquet Club of Boston is very excited to welcome Kendrick Cup Players, North American Racquets Professionals, and amateur NARA members keen to play in the newly re-instated Pro/AM Doubles Tournament to Boston!

From Wednesday, June 3rd to Sunday, June 7th the Racquets Court at Boston will be filled with our newest and most promising young players, our seasoned and ever-important Professionals and Amateurs alike competing for it all! With three tournaments to complete, the logistics are complicated, so please read this email and the entry forms carefully. Please note that spaces are limited and the entry form cut-off date is Friday, May 15th @ 6pm. 

NARA Professional Singles Championship -

-We welcome Club Professionals to Boston to compete for prize money and to be named the NARA Racquets Professional Champion! All Professionals entering the Singles are politely requested to participate in the PRO/AM Doubles. 

-Please plan to arrive to Boston by 12pm on Wednesday, June 3rd. 

-The Prize Pot will consist of an appearance fee but will be more heavily skewed towards success in the tournament. 

-The Professional Singles will take place on Wednesday and will conclude with the finals on Thursday before the Stag Dinner. 

-There is no entry fee, but please complete the entry form here: Racquets Professional Entry Form 

NARA Pro/AM Doubles Championship: 

-We welcome Club Professionals and Amateurs to Boston to compete for bragging rights and a prize pot! 

-This tournament will be paired doubles format, with Boston’s Pro Shop selecting the teams for the most competitive play possible. 

-The Prize Pot for this tournament will be more heavily favored towards the appearance fee, with a kicker for the winning professional(s). 

-(Please note that as this is the first PRO/AM Doubles, we expect this format to change next season. With a goal to either have amateurs bid on professionals or do a Calcutta format. Stay tuned!)

-Amateurs: Please plan to arrive to Boston by 10am on Thursday, June 4th. 

-The Pro/AM Doubles will take place on Thursday and will conclude with the finals on Thursday before the Stag Dinner.

The Kendrick Cup:

-We welcome eligible players (Confirm with you Club Professional or NARA Rep.) to Boston to compete for The Kendrick Cup! 

-Please plan to arrive to Boston for the Stag Dinner at 6pm on Thursday, June 4th.

-Kendrick Cup Play begins at 9am on Friday, June 5th.

Order of Events:

Wednesday, June 3rd - Professional Singles Begins at 12pm. 

Thursday, June 4th - Pro/Am Tournament begins at 10am, Professional Singles Finals, Stag Dinner

Friday, June 5th - Sunday, June 7th - The Kendrick Cup

Gentlemen’s Stag Dinner:

With thanks to The Jester’s Foundation, a $5,000 check will be handed to one deserving North American Racquets Professional. It is important that we recognize and celebrate the efforts of all our Professionals, whose impact on our game is so important, with a special nod to this year’s recipient. In closing, I would be remiss to not mention the organizations who have helped to make this weekend possible. We have subsidized the cost of the weekend for our Kendrick Cup Players and Professionals, we are sponsoring our Professionals with a healthy Prize Money pot and are recognizing one Professional in particular. All of these great and important efforts are entirely made possible by The North American Racquets Association, The Shumaker Racquets Foundation, and The Jester’s Foundation. With out these benevolent groups, this weekend would not be possible.
