KNOTT STEPHENS TOUR 2017 TEAM BIOGRAPHIES

Captain: Alexander Rozier-Pamplin (25):  Charterhouse, fellow at The Racquet Club of Chicago 2011, Economics BSc from Leeds University.  Bespoke Tailor. Queen’s Club, Royal Tennis Court (Hampton Court Palace); Real Tennis handicap c.25.

Vice Captain:  George Maltby (28):  After leaving Eton College in 2007, spent three months as a fellow at The Racquet Club of Chicago helping John Cashman in the pro shop.  Attended Bristol University between 2008 – 2011 and has spent the last 6 years working as an Investment Manager in London.  A member of Queen’s, regularly plays Racquets and Lawn Tennis.

Bruce Mason (28):  Cheltenham College, Bsc Zoology from University of Leeds. Msc International Trade, commodity finance and shipping (University of Geneva). Edesia Asset Management (Louis Dreyfus Group), Trader/Strategy commodities. Golf handicap 16.  Hits the Real Tennis ball quite cleanly, but little experience.

Henry Faber (25):  Eton College, BA Spanish & Italian Literature from Balliol College, Oxford University. Screen Actor and Director of Oppidan Education (Mentoring, School Advisory and EduCamps). Queen’s Club, MCC, Sunningdale. 9 handicap Golf, c.35 Real Tennis.

Rory Sutton (30):  Radley, BA Economics from University of Exeter (2008), Senior Manager at Accenture Strategy, specialising in Financial Services & Banking. Queen’s Club, Leamington Tennis Court Club, Moreton Morrell, St Enodoc Golf Club.   c.35 handicap in Real Tennis, 18 handicap Golfer, terrible at Squash.

Tommy Faber (25) BSc (ARCS) Chemistry from Imperial College, London University (2013), Equity Analyst at Waverton Investment Management. First Pair at Harrow for Rackets from 2009-10.

Ben Stevens (25):  Winchester College & Durham University (BA Spanish & Italian), Photographer & Filmmaker, Queen’s & Hurlingham Clubs, occasional Real Tennis/Squash player, Golf handicap 12.

Tom Buckley (24):  Queen’s.  Having completed 3 years at Cardiff University (BA Hons Politics), now works for the executive search firm Odgers Berndtson in their Technology & IT Services Practice. Prior to his time at university, Tom spent 5 years at Radley College, where at Rackets he competed in the Foster Cup (the top tier of The Public Schools Singles Championship) in his final 2 years. He also grew to love Real Tennis and used his fellowship in Chicago (June-July ’13) to shave a few points off his handicap (now up at 25). Tom is also a keen Squash player and enjoys playing Golf (handicap 11).
