The Racquet Club of Chicago is pleased to announce the appointment of Conor Medlow as Head Racquets Professional effective Oct 17. Conor, 25 years old, grew up on Hayling Island, England and learned court tennis, squash, tennis, and golf from the age of 8. He takes over the vacancy left by Will Hopton.
His first exposure to the RCC was back in February 2014 when he trained with Bryn Sayers to prepare Bryn for the Real Tennis World Championship playoff spot against Steve Virgona. Conor’s resume includes many court tennis achievements and, most notably, the 2011, 2015 and 2016 British Amateur Championships.
Conor tells us that he really looks forward to improving his rackets and meeting the NARA community. He and RCC fellow Nick Colbourne will both get a glimpse of one of North America’s finest rackets and court tennis weekends in November at the Silver Racquet and the second leg of the World Doubles Championship. Please stop up and have a hit with him.
