James Stout took no prisoners in today’s match winning by the scores 7,9,5 and 3 over challenger Will Hopton before a highly enthusiastic Philadelphia gallery. Partisans were evenly matched in vocal support for both players, as Stout kept raising his game. Hoppy’s game was also brilliant, but this wasn’t his day. Total points were 60-24.
The contest shifts to London next week.
